Fruit Salsa And Cinnamon

Cinnamon Scoopers and Apple Berry Salsa

 
What You Need:

2 C strawberries, chopped 
3 Granny Smith apples, peeled and chopped
3 kiwi, peeled and chopped
3 TBSP brown sugar
3 TBSP apple jelly
1/4 C sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
3 TBSP butter, melted
4 (6 in) flour tortillas 

How to Make It:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Place all the fruit into a blender.
Add the brown sugar.
Spoon the apple jelly into the mixture.
Blend to desired consistency.
Place in a bowl, cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
Cut the tortillas into bite size triangles.
Brush each tortilla triangle with the melted butter.
Place the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Toss to combine the ingredients together well.
Sprinkle the top of the triangles with the cinnamon sugar.
Place the triangles, sugar side up, on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 minutes or until crisp and a light golden brown.

12 Servings

These little treats when used to scoop the salsa are a favorite of not only children but adults alike.  Try other types of fruit or jelly to change the taste of the salsa for a special treat.
