Like Italian cooking, Mexican foods are highly appreciated by people all over the globe. Mexican foods are always fun to prepare and eat because of the different burst of flavors each cuisine brings in our taste pallets. Even Mexican snacks are such a big hit not only on the streets of Mexico but on the streets of every country in the world. Here are easy Mexican snacks that you can prepare if you’re planning to host an intimate Mexican inspired party with friends.
1.Taco Munch
This snack is has a great twist in the all too familiar Mexican tacos. To prepare this snack you will need: unsalted popcorn (already popped, 6 cups), corn cereal (toasted, 3 cups), mini-pretzels (1 cup), melted butter (2 tbsp.), dry taco seasoning (3 tsp.), grated Parmesan cheese (2 tbsp.) and cheddar cheese (4 oz. and cut into small cubes).
Combine the popped popcorn, toasted corn cereal and mini pretzels in a large bowl. Mix the butter, dry taco seasoning and grated Parmesan cheese in another container. Mix it thoroughly and them pour the mixture to the large bowl with the taco munches. Transfer the taco munches in an airtight container or in a sealed bag. Before serving, add the cubes of cheddar cheese.
2.Nacho Cheese Tortillas
This crowd favorite Mexican snack is so easy to make. You just need: flour tortilla (1), salsa (home made or store bought) and jalapeno cheese spread (2 tbsp.).
Spread the jalapeno cheese evenly on the tortilla. Roll it up afterwards. Microwave the tortilla in high for a minute. Cut into pieces and dip it into the bowl of salsa.
